October 29th, 1930 - June 13th, 2013
Evelyn Dolores Greene, age 82, a 20 year resident of Henderson and formerly of New York, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2013. Evelyn was born October 29, 1930 in the Bronx, NY to the late Samuel and the late Goldie (Mindich) Leshner. She worked as a bookkeeper in the pharmaceutical industry. Evelyn loved puzzles, shopping and the flowers in her garden. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Harold Greene; daughters Marcie (Grant Newsteder) Allen of Oakdale, NY and Sherrie (Joseph) Jesner of Jerusalem Israel; and grandchildren Mira, Jessica, David and Stav Jesner of Jerusalem. A graveside service will be held 10:00 am on Monday, June 17, 2013 at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1500 Las Vegas Boulevard North, Las Vegas, NV.
