Evelyn H. Helms

Evelyn H. Helms, age 84, of Cramerton, North Carolina passed away on May 12th, 2015 in Charlotte. She was born September 1, 1930 to the late William Hance and Katie Belle Spangler in Newport, TN. Our beloved mother devoted her life to her children. In her final days here, she was still raising her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She made our clothes when she was able and kept an impeccably clean home. She taught us about God and Jesus' ways. She gave to the poor and to orphans, an expression of true religion in God's sight ( James 1:27). She will be so missed by all who knew her kindness and love. Now we rejoice in her presence with the Lord, but she will also remain in forever in our hearts. Evelyn, our mom, is now well again and complete in Heaven. Survivors include her children, Sheila Carrig of Charlotte; Denise Mack of Gastonia; Carroll House of Little River and Debra Dunbeck of Greensboro; Ken House of Kings Mountain and Steve house of Marion, NC; seven grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. The family will hold a private memorial gathering in her honor. Tribute Cremation Society is serving the Helms family.
