Warner Robins, GA – Evelyn L. Megill, 82, passed away on March 26, 2015. Graveside service will be held Sunday, March 29, 2015 at 2:00 PM in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Reverend Wayne Searcy will officiate. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 29, 2015 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to S.U.P.P.O.R.T. 108 East Gordon Street, Thomaston, Georgia 30286. She was born on January 13, 1933 in Thomaston, Georgia to the late Wade and Jannie Lord. Mrs. Megill was retired from Wal-Mart as a clerk. She was an avid bowler and bowled in many leagues. Evelyn was also preceded in death by her husband, Harry Megill; daughter, Cheryl Lynne Bowen; brother, Fred Lord Sr. She is survived by one son, Bub (Cindy) Bowen, Warner Robins; six grandchildren: Justin (Libby) Bowen, Derek Bowen, Kaley (Tyler) Bone, J Cassidy (Matthew) Grimes, Courtney Gilley, Cody Durden; ten great-grandchildren: Kirsten, Kylee, Katie, Kyndall Bowen, Karter Bone, Archer Grimes, Caysen, Caegen, Carsyn Gilley; one brother, Grady (Betty) Lord, Thomaston, GA; one sister, Trish (Larry) Reece, Woodland, GA.
