Evelyn MacIntosh Seaborn
March 31st, 1933 - March 26th, 2016
Evelyn MacIntosh Seaborn passed away on March 26, a day and time of season that had special meaning and enjoyment for her. Evelyn was born March 31, 1933 in Edinburgh, Scotland to William and Euphemia MacIntosh, both of whom predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her husband, John, and her son Mitchell. Surviving her are her sons; Stephen and his wife Marla and their children Catherine, Elizabeth, Emily and William; Daniel and his wife Mary and their children Anna, Mary Grace and John. She is also survived by a grandson, Harrison by her son Mitchell. Evelyn was a faithful member of Amity Presbyterian Church for over 50 years where she had many dear friends. Evelyn was always involved in her son's lives, be it volunteering at the health room in the schools they attended, actively participating in the PTA or helping out at the ball park concession stands where they played ball. She never missed a game or sporting event that her sons were involved with. She also volunteered for 25 years at Presbyterian Hospital. The family enjoyed wonderful trips to the beach and later in life, Evelyn enjoyed the coast with her husband for extended periods of time. Evelyn and her husband also visited Scotland frequently. The family would like to thank the wonderful care provided by Unlimited Possibilities for the last two years. Evelyn enjoyed the loving staff and felt very cared for and comfortable there. The family would also like to thank Hospice for their compassionate support during her final journey. Visitation will be at Amity Presbyterian at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 31, with the funeral at 11:00 a.m., followed by a graveside service in the church cemetery.
