Evelyn B. Tesiero

Evelyn B. Tesiero, 88, formerly of Chapel Place, entered eternal glory Friday morning at the Edward L. Wilkinson Residential Health Care Facility. Born in Charleston NY on July 11, 1917, last surviving child of the late Augustus and Lula Rector Schubert, she lived in this area her entire life. Evelyn was employed as a nurses? aide for the Park Hill Adult Home until she retired. An avid Yankees fan, she loved the outdoors, fishing and camping and was her son Keith?s number one fan in stock car racing. She also enjoyed bingo and cards and was well known for her beautifully decorated specialty cakes. She was a parishioner of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church. Evelyn was married to LeRoy Tesiero who survives. Her loving family also includes her children, Keith and his wife Lorie Greco Tesiero and Joyce and her husband Jon Paul Hildreth all of Amsterdam; her grandchildren, Jon Kim Hildreth, Anita Arthur Filbeck, Roger Christina Hildreth, Elizabeth Hildreth, Joseph Hildreth, Keith Tesiero, Jr. and Tera Espada; nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services are Tuesday morning at 8:15 am at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 9:15 am at St. Michael the Archangel Church. Interment is in St. Mary?s Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday from 5-7 pm at the funeral home.
