A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 9, at Open Bible Fellowship in Eugene for Evelyn R. “Evie” Welch of Eugene, who died April 5 of complications of diabetes. She was 64.She was born Jan. 1, 1947, in Alhambra, Calif., to Paul and Dorothea Huckabee Hausler. She married Michael Welch on May 21, 1967, in San Gabriel, Calif. He died previously.She worked as an administrative assistant.Survivors include a son, Tim Welch of Eugene; a daughter, Amy Wauer of North Bend; three brothers, Randy Hausler of Valley, Wash., Jerry Hausler of Fresno, Calif., and Darrel Hausler of Rosemead, Calif.; a sister, Jean Bibbee of Spokane; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A daughter, Michelle Welch, died Aug. 11, 1967.Inurnment will be at West Lawn Memorial Park in Eugene. Arrangements by West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home.
