Evelyn Wise
April 12th, 1931 - July 16th, 2021
Evelyn Wise, 90, widow of Ben T. Wise, passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021. She was born in Spencer County, Kentucky on April 12, 1931 to the late Kelly and Marion Gaddie McClain. She worked for Kentucky State Government as an administrative secretary. Evelyn was a member of Memorial Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School. She was an event planner for the Golden Years Fellowship. She is survived by her daughters, Teresa Brown, Frankfort and Geri (Billy) Reinle, Lawrenceburg; her son, Tommy (Scottie) Wise, Lawrenceburg; her grandchildren, David Humphress, Mary Evelyn “Emmy” Reinle, Martin Wise, and Melanie Wise; as well as several great grandchildren. In addition to her husband of 69 years, she was preceded in death by her sister, Martha Peler. Funeral Service will be held at 7:00pm on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd with Rev. Mike Colston officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00pm until the time of service on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Memorial Baptist Church.
