Everett Goodman
September 9th, 1925 - April 5th, 2014
GOODMAN JR, Everett “Red”, 88, of Lebanon, TN went on to be with Lord, Saturday, April 5, 2014. Born in French Lick, IN, Everett was a member of the United Methodist Church, a retired manager of Texas Eastern Gas Company and served in WWII as a 2nd Class Aviation Radioman for the Navy. Red was a member of the American Legion for 68 years. Golfing the summers away at their home in Lebanon, TN and fishing all winter in Lake Wales, FL, this good-old-boy from the Midwest was a mentor and teacher to his three loving grandchildren; Colleen, Joseph and Lauren Mascherin. He was preceded in death by his wife, Freda who recently passed away in January and his brother, Bill. He will be deeply missed by his only daughter Marsha Mascherin of Tampa, her husband, Joe and Red’s sister, Martha Ballard of Petersburg, IN. Dual graveside services for Red and Freda will be held at a later date at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, French Lick, IN. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association.
