Fabian Sanchez
September 17th, 1985 - June 17th, 2016
Fabian Sanchez III, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 17, 2016 in Castroville, CA. He was born on September 17, 1985 in Hindville, Georgia. Fabian had proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Iraq War and was honorably discharged. Fabian is survived by, his son, Marcos Sanchez daughters, Daijia and Aubrey Sanchez mother, Pilar Jimenez father, Paul Jimenez and girlfriend, Alejandra Rios, also survives. He is preceded in death by, grandmother, Carmen Carreon and his aunt, Norma Padilla. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 1-9pm with a Rosary vigil at 7pm all at Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd Salinas, CA 93905. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 10am at the Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church 11140 Preston St. Castroville, CA 95012. Burial with Military Honors will take place on Thursday, June 23, 2016 11am at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella, CA.

Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
