Faye Bloodworth Walker

WALKER, Faye Bloodworth, 72, of Tampa, FL passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013. She was born in Norfolk, VA and moved to FL in 1990. Faye worked with Hampton Veterans Administration in Virginia and with the James A. Haley VA hospital Cardiac Catheterization Lab in Tampa. She was a member of Oaklette United Methodist Church in Chesapeake, VA and St. James United Methodist Church in Tampa. Faye was an active member and leader in her “Book Club”. She enjoyed volunteering at the church and at Dr. Sindhu Kotwaini’s office. Faye is preceded in death by her brother, Paul Bloodworth and her twin sister, Kay Shaw. She is survived by her son, Robert “Bob” Walker and his wife, Lisa and their children, Bryce, Tyler, Tayler, Kurtis, Zachary; two daughters, LeAnne Stokes and her husband, George and their children, Kristen Lee, Candice Lee, Chloé Lee and Karen Claugherty and her husband, Jim and their child, Kearns; brother-in-law, Ray Shaw; brother, Robah Bloodworth. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at St. James United Methodist Church on Monday, December 16th. Interment will follow at Oakside Cemetery in Zephyrhills. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. At noon at luncheon will be held at the church. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the St. James United Methodist Church.
