Fayne "Butch" Bell Haynes, Jr., 75, of Sutter Creek, CA, passed away after a battle with liver cancer on July 29, 2015, at home surrounded by his family. Butch was born on April 18, 1940 in Sacramento, CA to Fayne Bell and Geraldine Louise Haynes. Butch grew up in River Pines before moving to Cloverdale in Sonoma County. At the age of 18 years old, Butch joined the Air Force. Unfortunately after a few months, he was honorably discharged, due to poor hearing. In 1966, Butch migrated back to Amador County and went to work for American Forest Products. On March 11, 1967 Butch married Anita (Gascon) while making their home in Sutter Creek, California. After years of marriage, they welcomed their two children Gina DiaLynn and Mitchell Butch Haynes. After putting in over 30 years on the "hill," he retired due to a disability. Butch enjoyed fishing, camping, shooting trap, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Salmon river fishing was his greatest love of all. Butch is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Anita (Gascon); brother, Donald Gary Haynes; and children, Ron (Gretchen) Haynes of Loomis, CA, Larry Haynes of Austin, TX, Gina (Michael) Pimentel of Ione, CA, and Mitchell Haynes of Salinas, CA. Butch had eight wonderful grandchildren, Brandon, Tayton, Annesa, Michael, Ronnie Jr., Jessica, Danielle, and Eric. He had one great grandchild whom he never had the pleasure of meeting. Butch is preceded in death by his father, Fayne Bell Haynes, Sr., and his mother Geraldine Louise Stokes. Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral service on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Daneri Mortuary in Jackson, CA. Inurnment will be immediately following at Sunset View Cemetery in Jackson, CA. Memorial contributions in honor of Butch can be made to Hospice of Amador and Calaveras Counties at P.O.
