Felix Arnold Buehler, dedicated husband and father, passed away on March 16, 2016. He valiantly fought his lung cancer for 5 years, beating the odds enduring treatments and living a good life. Felix was born in Weil am Rhein, Germany. He was a spirited young man who loved to spend time with friends and family traveling throughout Europe. He joined the Swiss Military where he was trained as a chef. Felix enjoyed showing off his culinary talents by cooking for family and friends. Felix loved music. It was this passion and commitment that brought him to the United States in 1983. He studied guitar under famed musicians at the Guitar Institute in Los Angeles. After graduation, he decided to stay in the United States to pursue a career as a professional guitar player/musician. He moved to Las Vegas where he played with countless performers, entertainers and musicians. His reputation as a masterful and accomplished guitar player, gave him the opportunity to travel throughout North America and Europe. While playing for others, he still found time to create and compose original music. After his cancer diagnosis, Felix focused on family and his health. He began attending and participating in groups and activities at The Caring Place. He also traveled each year to Switzerland and Germany to spend time with his family. Felix is survived by his devoted wife Shareece, his son Miles, who is the light of his life, his mother Heidi, brothers Urs (Ulrike), Markus (Stephanie) and sister Anina (Dieter). He has a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends throughout Germany, Switzerland and the United States. He is preceded in death by his father Arnold and uncle Karl, both of Germany. A graveside service will be held at Bunkers Memorial Garden at 7251 W Lone Mountain Road on March 21, 2016 at 10am.

Im Unglück ist die Erinnerung an das erlebte Gute der beste Trost. "Plutarch" In misfortune the memory of the good experienced things is the best consolation. We are proud of our brother /brother-in-law Felix. He spent his life far away from home as musician and he had always contact to the family in Germany and Switzerland. We thank for the lovely and happy time he had together with Shareece and Miles. We are very sad, that Felix passed away after a long time of illness what he accepted and endured bravely. We will never forget our dear Felix. Urs Bühler and Ulrike Rebitzer Bühler

Dear Shareece, dear Miles My heartfelt condolances go out to you. Felix and I met during our studies at the Musicians Institute in LA back in 1987. We jamed on a regular basis and sometimes he even would cook delicious meals for us. I stayed in touch with Felix through all these years and I was always very proud of him that he was able to make a living playing his guitar in the very competitive music business of Las Vegas. I will always remember Felix as a very dear friend. Although we didn't see us on a regular basis it was always very easy to pick up where we left off. It was an honor to have known Felix and I will truly miss him. Herman
