Flora L. Montgomery, 58, went home to be with the Lord on February 4, 2015. She was born to Reverend Lovie D. Brown and Maggie L. Brown in Indianapolis, Indiana. She graduated from Arlington High School in 1976. In 2006, she graduated from World Harvest Evangelistic Ministries Bible College and Seminary located in Sacramento, California with a Doctorate of Theology.Pastor Flora received Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at a very young age. As a child and adult growing up in the ministry, she held various offices in the church. Pastor Flora has been Church Youth Director, Church Sunday School Teacher, Vacation Bible School Teacher, Vice President of PWOC, Choir Member, Praise and Worship Director and Intercessor. Pastor Flora served as Associate Pastor to Kingdom Message Christian Center, in Marysville, CA for ten years.Flora is survived by her husband, Bishop Larry D. Montgomery of Yuba City, California. Flora and Larry will have been married for 40 years in June.Flora is survived by two sons, Sergeant 1st Class Joshua Montgomery of the United States Army and his wife, Amber, of Ft. Meade, Maryland and Raymund Montgomery of Yuba City, California; and Flora's former daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Montgomery. Flora has six precious grandchildren, Joshua (17), Angel (15), Dante (13), Alexander (11), Brooke (6) and new born, Neymairah. Flora is also survived by her parents, Reverend Lovie D. Brown and Maggie Lee Brown of Indianapolis, Indiana; and her father-in-law, she lovingly called Mr. (Joseph) Montgomery, and the rest of her loving family.The memorial service to celebrate the life of Flora L. Montgomery will be held Saturday, February 14, 2015, at 2:00 pm at Kingdom Message Christian Center in the First Presbyterian Church, 1940 Freeman Street, Marysville, CA 95901.
