SCHARALDI, Florence A. of St. Petersburg, Florida passed away at home on October 28, 2012 at the age of 77. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was the beloved daughter of the late Crawford and the late Margaret Moore. She is survived by her loving husband, Angelo Scharaldi and her children Linda Walton (and her husband Edward), Frank Anile (and his fiancé Renata Lecchi) and Joseph Anile (and his wife MaryAnn) and stepchildren Mary Ellen Brill (and her husband Harry) and Stephan Scharaldi. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren Megan Walton, Caitlin Walton, Amadea Anile, Joseph Anile, Raffaela Anile and Francesco Anile. She was predeceased by her sister Margaret Roviello (and her husband Dominick), her brother Michael Moore (and his wife Audrey), and her sister Arleen Morales (and her husband Joseph). She was also predeceased by her former husband, Joseph Anile, and his parents Frank Anile and Rose Anile. In addition, she is survived by her brother-in-law Domenic Anile (and his wife Carol) as well as her sister-in-law Geraldine and nephews Domenic Anile (and his wife Theresa), Gary Anile (and his wife Denise) and niece Theresa Santecrue (and her husband Gabe). Her other surviving nieces and nephews include Frank Roviello (and his wife Jody), Margaret Nixon (and her husband Bill), Michael Moore (and his wife Dori), Steven Moore (and his wife Melanie), Thomas Moore, Alison Angelo, James Angelo, and Roseann Johnson. She is also survived by aunts and uncles including Olga Ricciardi, Concetta Menichini and Alfred Menichini. An incredible person, Flo was loved by all. She attended P.S. 131, Pershing M.S., New Utrecht H.S. and Brooklyn College in Brooklyn. She married her high school sweetheart, Joseph, and raised three children, Linda, Frank and Joseph in Brooklyn. She was always surrounded by loving family. She was a daughter to both of her in-laws, Rose and Frank, and she spent considerable time with her family (Moore, Roviello, Morales) and her extended family (Anile, Ricciardi, Cottone, Menichini, Pelosi, and Graziano) and numerous friends. As her children grew, she returned to work and was employed by Sanolite Chemical Company in Brooklyn as an account manager until her retirement in 1986. In that same year, she met and married Angelo ("Chip") Scharaldi; they relocated to Gateway-By-The-Bay in St. Petersburg in 1987. In Florida, she was again surrounded by loving family, including her sisters Margie and Arleen, their husbands Dom and Joe and her brother Mike and his wife Audrey. In addition, she had the loving extended family of her husband Chip, including his brothers Frank Scharaldi, Mike Scharaldi and Bill Scharaldi and sisters Fay Pettinato and Liz Babrel. She loved Florida; the weather provided her with opportunities to spend most of her time outdoors. She greatly enjoyed her frequent trips that she and Chip took to local museums, zoos, and parks; she was particularly fond of Busch Gardens and Disney World. She would often go to Busch or Disney for a show and dinner. She enjoyed sharing her favorite places and loved spending time there with her grandchildren, Megan, Caitlin, Amadea, Joseph, Raffaela, and Francesco. Flo was a kind, caring, and dedicated wife, mother, sister, sister-in-law, niece, cousin, aunt, friend and confidant; she dearly loved her family and friends. It is now time to celebrate the life she shared with us. A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 4 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Anderson McQueen Family Tribute Center, 2201 Dr. MLK Street North, St. Petersburg, Florida (727.822.2059). Church, 93 Anstice Street, Oyster Bay, New York and interment at Pine Lawn Memorial Park, 2030 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, New York at later dates to be announced.
