Floyd Dallas McMurray

The family of the late Floyd Dallas McMurray, 89, of Columbia, SC will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park for a visitation on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. A graveside service will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Serenity Gardens at 2:00 p.m. Mr. McMurray is survived by his wife of 60 years, Gwendolyn Mixon McMurray; daughter, Terri Wright Petitt; grandson, Dallas Wright; son, Kenneth Floyd McMurray; daughter-in-law, Jodi McMurray; and a number of nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. He is the son of the late John Fred and Lillie Sheehane McMurray. Mr. McMurray was a graduate of Columbia High School and Draughn's Business College. He served in the US Air Force and was a member of the American Legion Post #6. He was a retired sales consultant with Jim Moore Cadillac.
