Foy Alonzo Jones

Foy Alonzo Jones, 88, of Summerville, SC went home to be with his Lord on January 31, 2018. Foy was born June 20, 1929 to Garland and Orphia (McWilliams) Jones in Brownfield, Texas. He served in the US Air Force for 22 years and worked as a claims adjuster for Allstate insurance. Foy loved his family, enjoyed serving in his church, spending time with his friends, eating good food and traveling. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 35 years, Jeanette (Gleason) Jones. Foy is survived by his son, Jeffery Jones and wife Pamela of Summerville, SC and his daughter Cathy Diehl and husband Bobby of Trimble, Missouri as well as three beloved stepchildren, Denise Early of Cucamonga, California, Michelle Talbott of Centennial, Colorado and Scott Talbott of Aurora, Colorado, as well as his sister Wanda Phillips and husband Jim of Anaheim, California, and his brother Sidney Jones and wife Kathy of St Angelo, Texas. One of his greatest joys were the 9 grandchildren and the 10 great-grandchildren that he loved to be surrounded with.
