Frances Marie Allen, affectionately known as Mimi and Aunt Ree, 80, of Ocklawaha, FL, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2019. Marie was a native of Apopka, Florida born on May 28, 1938 to Dewey and Erma Robinson. As matriarch of her family, Marie looked forward to hosting gatherings and having everyone together in one place, especially on Thanksgiving. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her four children, Tina Denton, Tony Allen, Terri Allen, and Chad Allen, five grandchildren, Melissa, CJ, Ashley, Eric, and Hunter, and four great grandchildren, Breanna, Chase, Lanah, and Jaxon. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Manuel, and her siblings, Herman, Dub, Agnes, Preston and Helen. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on April 27, 2019 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, Belleview, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview, FL, 34420 with a visitation from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm. Interment will be private at Florida National Cemetery with her late husband, Manuel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at Wounded Warrior Project .
