Frances Ann Bradford
July 9th, 1936 - September 26th, 2018
Born in New York City on June 9, 1936 to Charles and Johanna Bauer Bradford. At age 5, after the tragic death of Charles, Frances was relocated to upstate New York in the care of David and Ruth Hitchman with whom she stayed until her adult years. She graduated Crouse Hospital School of Nursing in Syracuse, New York, University College of Syracuse University and the Nurse Practitioner program at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York. She retired after 35 years of service from University Hospital in Syracuse, New York. After the death of her long-time companion, James K. Konski, she moved to Florida. She pursued her love of travel, mostly adventure trips consisting of biking and hiking. High on her bucketlist; a four-month cruise around the world in 2011. She is survived by special long-time friends Beth and Mike Broski of Syracuse, New York, her brother, Eugene Bradford and his wife Jacqueline L. Deprins-Bradford of Sarasota and their daughter Michele Bradford and her daughter Soraya of Istanbul, Turkey. At her request, there will be no services. Contributions may be made in her name to your favorite charity or IRCC Foundation.
