Frances Kessler Butler, 92, died Friday, February 12, 2016. A native of Bonneau, SC, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie Kessler and the late Inez Wilson Orvin. She was also preceded in death by her husband George T. Butler, 2 brothers, Elliott A. Kessler and Norman C. Orvin, a sister, the former Margaret Kessler, and children George T. Butler, Carolyn B. Hopkins, Michael H. Butler, Paul M. Butler, and James C. Butler. Mrs. Butler was a garment inspector including Levis, where she retired. She is survived by two sons, Francis K. (Linda) Butler of Hanahan, SC and Richard O. (Sandy) Butler of Goose Creek, SC, a sister Betty O. Shepard of Goose Creek, SC, a brother James E. Orvin of North Charleston, SC, 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 on Tuesday, February 16 at Bonneau Baptist Church on Church St., in Bonneau, SC followed immediately by the service at 2:00. Pastor Robert W. Tilton will be officiating. Burial will be at Bonneau Baptist Church Cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christian Broadcasting Network, 977 Centerville Turnpike, Virginia Beach, VA 23463 in memory of Frances Butler.
