Christie, Frances Helen "Fran" 88 of St. Petersburg, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Staten Island, NY, on July 1, 1927 to the late Frank Nola and Mildred Petronella Nola. Fran worked as a school secretary at Holy Family School of Religion in Staten Island, NY. She enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, Hard Rock Casino and playing bingo. Fran was also member of Holy Family Catholic Church in St. Petersburg. Fran is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years Walter L. Christie.She is survived by her children; daughter, Cheryl C. Bearce, husband Bob; son, Brian Christie, the late Terri; brother, Charles A. Nola, wife, Mickey; grandchildren, Caitlin, Amanda, Jacqueline, Danielle, Andrew; great-grandchildren, Brian, Ian, Emma. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Fran's name to Suncoast Hospice Foundation, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd, Clearwater, FL 33760.
