Frances "Love" Eulean Giles

Frances “Love” Giles, 91, of Hilton Head, SC, passed from Glory to Glory on Sunday, January the 7th, 2024. Fran was born December 2, 1932, in Goodhope, Alabama to the late Lawson Rigby and Sadie Rigby. Surviving her are three children, Steve Giles, Michael Giles, and Christy Giles; six grandchildren, Ryan Giles, Randy Giles, Joshua Giles, Noah Giles, Johanna Giles, and Michael Maddaloni; four greatgrandchildren, Henry Giles, Mark Giles, Ben Giles, and Leo Giles. She was the last of her generation, the matriarch of her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Art (Sonny) Giles, her son, Randy Giles, and brothers, Alvin, Sam, Leonard, and Bill. She is a child of God, sister in Christ, missionary, and evangelist for the Gospel of Jesus Christ, our Lord. She is the radiance of her indwelling Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. If you knew Fran, then you now know that you are precious! It was the joy of her life to tell how precious you are in the sight of God. It was upon receiving the revelation that ‘God is Love’ that she was adorned her eternal new name Fran “Love” Giles. Her amazing gift was to see people around the neighborhood and around the world, as God sees all people of His creation. She expressed His Love in the ‘self-for-others’ nature of God. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 20th at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, at 50 Pope Avenue, Hilton Head, SC, 29928, with a reception to follow.
