Frances M. Goodwin

Warner Robins, GA: Mrs. Frances Marie Goodwin, 88, passed away at Southeast Alabama Medical Center, in Dothan, Alabama on Saturday, December 10th, 2011. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 16th, 2011 from 10-11 am at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home followed by interment at Andersonville National Cemetery at 1 pm, beside her husband of 48 years, James Putney “”Jim”” Goodwin, Sr. Frances was born on August 17th, 1923 to the late Desmond and Margaret “”Kelly”” O’Rourke in Wilmington, Delaware. Frances was of the Catholic faith and previously employed by Warner Robins Animal Hospital as the office manager for thirty+ years. Survivors include her children J. Putney Goodwin, Jr. of Belleville, IL; Nancy “”Goodwin”” Brown of Stone Mountain, GA and Timothy J. Goodwin of Dothan, AL. She is also survived by six grandchildren, LTC Kelly C. Brown, Robert “”Bobby”” Brown, Jr., James P. “”Trey”” Goodwin, III, and Robert “”Tyler”” Goodwin, from Warner Robins, Christy Goodwin Bullard, and John L. Goodwin, from Dothan, AL. Also surviving are three great grandchildren, Madison, Kailey and Kinsey. Flowers will be accepted however, donations can be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of local arrangements.
