Frances Caroline Mack, 92, of Englewood died Friday, December 18, 2009 at Tidewell Hospice, Inc. Englewood. Born on June 8, 1917 in Roslyn, New York she had been a resident of Charlotte County for fifteen years coming from Glenwood Landing, NY. A loving home maker for her family she was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. Survivors include her three sons: William A. Mack and Robert C. Mack both of Englewood, FL; James K. Mack of Windsor, NY; 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her first husband William C. Mack, her second husband Edward Burke, a daughter June Mack and a son Michael Mack. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Sea Cliff Long Island, NY at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2801 Fruitville Road, Suite 250, Sarasota, FL 34237 or Tidewell Hospice, Inc. 5955 Rand Blvd. Sarasota, FL 34238 in memory of Mrs. Mack.
