He was born in North Berwick, Maine on October 20, 1922, to Elmer and Lillian Kimball, but spent his childhood years in Amesbury, Massachusetts. He married Marjorie A. Cole on May 4, 1946. They lived together in Springfield, Massachusetts for 54 years; after Marjorie’s passing Frank moved to Warner Robins, Georgia. He is survived by his sons, Alan (Phyllis) and Douglas (Catherine), grandchildren Alex, Michael and Bradley, and great grandsons, Aiden, Jace and Austin, as well as by several nephews and nieces. Frank served in the United States Army during World War II in the 96th Signal Battalion in the China-Burma-India Theater from January 1942 to December 1945, rising to the rank Master Sergeant. Frank graduated from Amesbury High School, Bryant and Stratton Business School, and Boston University. While at Boston University he became a member of Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society.
