Francis A Lapointe

Francis A. Lapointe died April 17, 2013 at his home in Viera, Florida after a long illness. He was born in Manchester, N.H. on July 28, 1933 and worked untill his retirement at the Lowell Sun, Lowell, Ma, after serving his apprenticeship at the Union Leader. He was a Veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Judy O'Leary Lapointe; two daughters, Linda Beliveau of Manchester, N.H.; Laurie Lapointe of Jacksonville, Fl.; one son, Stephen Lapointe of Petaluma, Ca.; two grandsons, Adam Beliveau and Derek Beliveau. A memorial service will be held in New Hampshire at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105.
