Francis "Ray" Moore

Francis "Ray" Moore, 79, of Columbia, South Carolina peacefully entered his Lord's presence on September 18, 2019. He was born on August 26, 1940 in Columbia, South Carolina to the late Joe "Mack" and Frances Brewer Moore. Ray was a strong man of faith. He adored his wife, Ann, of 53 years. Ray loved his children and grandchildren. His happy place was in the woods deer hunting or fishing. Ray graduated from Columbia High School in 1961. He was a dedicated employee of Winn Dixie for 40 years. Ray was involved in the Outreach Ministry and Truck Ministry as well as an Usher for Crossroads World Outreach. Francis is survived by his loving wife, Ann Moore; his daughters, Tarina (Rob) Stone and Elisabeth (Ben) Fields; his grandchildren, Brandon Mallard, Jason Wiley, Ava Stone, Alivia Stone, Joseph Mathis, Victoria Fields and Cheyanne Fields; great-grandchildren, Omi Mallard, Oni Mallard and Skylar Wiley. He was preceded in death by his sister, Alice Faye Riddle. The family will receive friends at Crossroads World Outreach Center, 2606 Emanuel Church Road, West Columbia, SC 29170 on September 25, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Tim Hodge officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Memorial Gardens, 501 Elmwood Ave., Columbia, SC 29201 at 4:00PM. Memorials may be made to the World Missions at Crossroads World Outreach Center.
