Frank Daniel Amendolare
September 16th, 2017
Frank D. Amendolare, 70, of Bullhead City, Arizona, passed away at his home on Sept. 16, 2017 from a short battle with cancer with his wife and his daughter by his side. Born in Huntington Station, New York, to Frank and Jennie Amendolare, he moved to Canadensis in 1980 with his family. Over the course of his life he owned Frank's Cesspool Service in Huntington, New York, Frank's Lobster Connection in Canadensis, and currently Frankie's Cab Co., in Arizona. He loved playing in the Texas Hold'em Circuit and made many friends while enjoying his favorite pastime. He was passionate about knowing what was happening in the world today and able to converse about the hot issues in finance, politics and sports. He had a very long memory and a great sense of humor even in the face of adversity. In 2014 and 2015 he saved two people from drowning in the Colorado River never giving a second thought to his own safety. For this heroic act he was awarded a Citizen's Medal of Valor. Frank is survived by his wife of 52 years, Francine (Sasso); children: Jennifer Fisher (Matthew), Frank (Julia) and Joseph (Tamara); and son-in-law, Clifford Christiana. His wonderful grandchildren are: Amanda, Jimmy, Santina, Clifford Jr., Matthew, Isabella, Nicholas, Jonnie, Frankie, Mia, Mahayla, Enzo and Amalia; and a great-grandchild, Carter. He is also survived by his loving sisters, Julianne Scudieri (Jimmy) and Phyllis Lynch; and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. A viewing will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21 at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. The Rev. Fr. Richard Czachor will celebrate a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 22 at Our Lady of Victory Church, 327 Cherry Lane Road, Tannersville. Burial is private. Say not in grief he is no more - but live in thankfulness that he was…Proverb Frank wa
