Frank was a man of God. Just a grade apart in high school, he was a friend and a brother-in-Christ. I sorrowed when Frank and his family left our small prairie town. Sadly, I lost touch with him. Will always remember him singing with the "Berg Trio". See you soon, Frank.

I’ve always known Frank as ‘Pastor Frank’. My family joined South Calgary Community Church upon our return from Kingston, Ontario in the late 70’s. I can remember the early days, where we used the gym at Dr. E.P. Scarlett High School and the eventual sod-turning and building of the current church campus. Two generations of my family were blessed with close relationships with Frank, JoAnne, Kerri, Chad and Ken. From Shuswap vacations, to pool parties, to the regular Sunday services. Frank introduced a countless number of people to Jesus and many have been saved as a result of his ministry, including me. He was a wonderful man, with a booming voice and an amazing laugh. You didn’t have to see Frank to know where he was - because you could hear him from anywhere. The influence Frank had in his family is incredible to see. While distance has limited the opportunity to see them as often as I’d like, time is irrelevant and when we do reconnect, it seems like we’ve always just picked up from where we left off last time. Frank has been welcomed into heaven as a “good and faithful servant”. While he will be missed dearly in our world, we all live with the assurance that we will see him again. JoAnne, Kerri, Chad, Ken (and families), our condolences and our prayers are with you. May the promises of our amazing God comfort you during this time. Jeff & Andrea Dyck (and family)

Frank Berg was our Pastor - how Blessed were we and all who came to South Calgary Community Church! He was the Founding Pastor and He led us to our relationship with Jesus, comforted us and brought us through a tragic time in our life, and was always there for us. We came to South Calgary on Mother's Day of 1974 and was greeted by Frank & JoAnne and from then on we knew where God wanted us to be. They were the backbone of South Calgary Community Church, loving and nurturing everyone who came across the threshold of South Calgary. Frank & JoAnne and their children, Kerri, Chad and Ken were precious friends leaving treasured memories which we still hold dearly. Praise God for the Berg Family! Hugs to you all! We love you dearly!
