Frank Bolebruch

Mr. Frank Bolebruch, 91, of Gloversville, passed away August 16, 2012 at Nathan Littauer Nursing Home. He was born October 8, 1920 in Johnstown, N.Y., son of the late Ladislav and Julia Paradayz Bolebruch. Mr. Bolebruch was educated in local schools and served in the Coast Guard from 1942-1945. Frank was a well known and respected auto salesman. He had been employed at the former Shepard Pontiac, retiring from Rose Buick-Pontiac several years ago. Humor and charm were his recipe for a successful client following which he faithfully served many years. In addition to golf and traveling, Frank was an avid reader. He enjoyed serving his community as an active member of the Foothills United Methodist Church, a Lions Club member over 50 years where he was past-president and also held other offices. He was also a member of the SOKOL Society. Survivors include his wife Beverly Daniels Bolebruch of Gloversville, whom he married December 26, 1948. Frank also leaves his loving children; Lori Lindholm Ross of Leonardtown, Maryland, and Daniel Bolebruch of Dayton, Ohio. He is also survived by two brothers; Carl Bolebruch and George Bolebruch both of Gloversville, a grandson, Adam Lindholm of Leonardtown, Maryland as well as nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by two sisters; Amelia Saunders and Julia Bolebruch and a brother Lewis Bolebruch. Funeral services will be held 11 am Monday August 20, 2012 at the Foothills United Methodist Church, 17 Fremont St., Gloversville. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4-6 pm at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St. Gloversville. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to the church or a charity of choice.
