Frank P. Chichester
April 5th, 1932 - June 7th, 2023
Frank Paul Chichester, 91, of Tribes Hill, New York, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2023 at his daughter’s home, surrounded by his loving family. Frank was born on April 6, 1932 in East Greenbush, New York to the late Carl and Bertha (Deher) Chichester Sr. On October 16, 1971 Frank was united in marriage to Carole J. Miller. The couple shared 47 wonderful years together, until her passing in May of 2019. Frank proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. After his time in the service, Frank spent many years working at the Oswald D. Heck Developmental Center in Schenectady, New York, where he was a supervisor in the housekeeping department. His loving family includes his children, Erin (Lee) Benjamin of Amsterdam, and John (Alison) Daynard of Florida; grandchildren, Clint, Cameron, and Kendra Daynard; sisters, Marie Weston, and Marty Chichester; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Aside from his parents, Carl and Bertha, and his wife Carole, Frank is preceded in passing by his son, Timothy A. Daynard, and his siblings, Lee Chichester, Carl Chichester, and Rosemary Dopp. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Friday, June 23, at 10 o’clock in the morning in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Tribes Hill, New York, with The Very Rev. O. Robert DeMartinis E.V presiding. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Montgomery County SPCA, P.O. Box 484, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
