Frank "Jay" Dana, Sr., age 74, of LaBelle, passed away October 11, 2015 in Lehigh Acres. He was born March 6, 1941 in Miami, Florida, to the late Roy J. and the late June "Rose" (Parsons) Dana. A lifelong native of LaBelle, Florida. A rancher, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his loving wife: Heidi (Hart) Dana, brother: Rookie (late Marion) Dana, sister: Frances (Skeeter) Colding, son: Frank (Cindy) Dana, daughter: Susan (Jason) Shiveler, step-son: Josey Scannell, grandchildren: Danielle (J.L.) Wright, Frank Robert Dana, Joe (Lauren) Thompson, Robert, Lauren, Addyson, great grandchildren: Chancey Jae Wright, Kaylee Jade Dana, and Ruger Joseph Thompson. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 10:00am at Cowboy Church Ministries, Sears Road, LaBelle with Frank Dana officiating. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to service. Interment will be in Fort Denaud Cemetery, LaBelle. Arrangements by Akin-Davis Funeral Home – LaBelle.
