Tribute Frank P. Dino, of Longmont, died June 13th, 2019 at his home with his wife and son by his side after a 7-month battle with cancer. He was 68. Frank was born March 5th, 1951 in Passaic, New Jersey to Frank and Rose Dino. He married Linda Dino on June 30th 1974. His teaching career began in Lodi in 1972; he taught in Lodi, NJ and Florence, CO. In 1978 he began his actuarial career. Much of his career was spent as a regulator for the states of Colorado and Florida where he was Chief Actuary. In 2006 he retired to spend time with his family and begin the next chapter in his life. In 2007 he received the Robert J. Myers public service award for his lifelong efforts in elevating his profession. He was especially proud of his part in legislation that allowed holocaust victims to receive compensation from unpaid policies. After retiring, Frank returned to Colorado with his wife, where they always considered it home. He enjoyed trips to the mountains and time with his family, children and grandchild. He especially enjoyed fishing trips with his grandson Luca. Surviving Frank are his wife Linda of Longmont; two children and one grandchild. Christian and Annica Dino and their son Luca of Louisville, Co. Brittania and Bryan Rich of West Palm Beach, Fl. His brother and his wife David and Patty Dino of Cranbury New Jersey and their son, Frank and Linda’s nephew and Godson David Justin. His Sister and her husband Sandra and Gary Piscitello of Lodi, New Jersey and his niece’s Shannon, Carrie & Kelly.
