Frank Earl Embree, Sr., 76, of Kersey, CO passed away November 27, 2015 at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, CO. He was born August 2, 1939 in Longmont, CO to Lewis and Laura (DeGabain) Embree. On June 12, 1960 he married Alice Peters in Platteville, CO. He loved being with his family, his special trips with Alice, being around motorized equipment, fast cars and just being around people, he could always carry on a conversation with anyone. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and harvesting crops. He graduated from Platteville High School. Frank is survived by his son, Frank (Sambath) Embree, Jr. of Greeley; step grandchildren, Sophia, Ratha, Sambo and Michael; and his sister Lorraine Sater of Longmont. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Alice, brothers Arwin, Harold and Lewis. Funeral Service 10:00a.m. Thursday, December 3, 2015, with viewing one hour prior at Adamson Chapel. Interment will follow at Mizpah Cemetery in Platteville. Memorial contributions maybe made to "American Diabetes Foundation” in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634.
