Frank Allan Hasman

July 9th, 1943 - June 12th, 2020

Frank Allan Hasman, 76, of Meridian passed away Friday, June 12, 2020 at a local hospital. Frank was born July 9, 1943 in Cleveland, Ohio to Frank and Helen Hasman. Frank was the eldest of three sons, followed by John Bruce (deceased) and Charles Hasman. Frank grew up in the Cleveland area and met the love of his life, Janice Danielski, on a blind date. They married in 1964 and started a family. Frank and Jan have three daughters, Gretchen (54), Theresa (53), and Christine (48). In 1977, Frank moved the family to Boise for a career opportunity. In 1984, the family moved to Alabama for job transfer and shortly retuned to the Boise area, which they loved. Frank had a love for math and finance and successfully held many financial management and controller positions in his career. He was an avid amateur radio operator, photographer, enjoyed fast toys like snowmobiling, jet boating, and ATVs. Upon retirement, Frank and Jan moved to Cascade to reside in the house Frank designed and built. They were bit by the traveling bug and spent many years with the Newmar Kountry Klub motorhome group traveling across the country. Frank and Jan held various volunteer positions with the Klub. Frank was also a member of the Nampa Elks Lodge organization. They enjoyed the warmth of Arizona and spent several winters with friends in Yuma. After several years living in Cascade, Frank and Jan settled in Meridian. Jan and family would like to thank the nurses and staff at the St. Luke’s Palliative Care on the 7th floor for their compassion and care. Surviving Frank is his wife, Jan; his three daughters, Gretchen Baker (Brian), Theresa Drake (Richard), and Christine Adair (Lance); his brother Charles Hasman (Barbara); his sister-in-law Sue Hasman; his 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; loving niece, nephew and grand-nephews and grand-niece and cousins. Accent Funeral Home

Accent Funeral Home

A local landmark in Meridian, Accent Funeral Home has been serving the community since 1986. The business was first established with a vision to offer services in a comfortable, homelike atmosphere. This vision is reflected in our building, a Tudor-style home built in 1938 for a local postman. When remodeling the house to accommodate the funeral home, much care was taken to preserve the original architectural integrity of the building. The Accent Funeral Home holds a special relationship with the Meridian community and is sensitive to the area’s changing needs, providing service and friendship to comfort those we serve.
