A celebration of life for Frank Michaud, 82 of Chico, will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, April 28, 2008 at the Willows Elks Lodge. Frank passed away April 22, 2008 in Chico. He was born October 25, 1925 in Redding, CA to Frank Sr. and Olive Belle Michaud. Frank attended Willows Schools. He served in the Army Air Corp. in WWII. He later married Donna Willard. Frank belonged to the Cal Ag Assn., Association with C3A. Frank started Air Tankers in the early 1950's for firefighters. Frank enjoyed flying... "he was born to fly". He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and photography. He was self employed as an owner/operator of Michaud's Aviation since 1949. He was proud of that. Frank is survived by his wife, Donna of Chico; sons, Reg and Sandy of Willows; daughter, Linda Smith of Merced, CA; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; stepson, Kevin Feeney of Chico; step-daughter, Sheala Pritchard of Portland, Oregon; four step- grandchildren. Donations can be made to a favorite charity in care of Brusie Funeral Home.
