Frank “Squirt” Christopher Montoya III, 64, of Fort Collins, Colorado passed away peacefully at home September 17th, 2024 after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.

Frank was born May 7th 1960 to Frank J. Montoya Jr and Carmen G. Rodiguez in Greeley Colorado.

In 1976 while attending Poudre High School in Fort Collins, Frank found the girl of his dreams, Linda Kay Harper, cruising College Avenue in his 1969 Camaro.

Frank and Linda married January 27th 1979 in Fort Collins where they lived until his death.

Frank and Linda had three children that he adored and would do anything for.

Frank Arthur Montoya IV, Christina Dawn Montoya and Savannah Faith Aranda.

Frank had two grandchildren that he loved deeply, Brianna Kay Montoya age 9 and Hudson Christopher Aranda, who God gave us 3 weeks early to be able to meet his grandfather.

Frank was a very loyal, kind, considerate, caring, and funny person. He enjoyed life to the fullest even to the end. Frank was still drag racing and fishing with the help and support of his family and friends up until his last weeks. He had friends of all ages; he would always say some of his closest friends were younger than his children.

Frank is survived by his wife Linda K Montoya, his three children Frank A. Montoya IV (Kristy), Christina D. Montoya (Steven Musser) and Savannah F. Aranda (Joel), two grandchildren, Brianna K. Montoya and Hudson C. Aranda, Mother Carmen G. Rodriguez, stepfather Juan E. Rodriguez, stepmother Susan E. Montoya. Two sisters Deborah K. Ramirez (Richard) and Yvette Montoya. Half-brother Jeremy F. Montoya and half-sister Beth S. Montoya. Stepbrother Steven D. Rodriguez and stepsister Dawn M. Rodriguez. Brother-in-law Gary L. Harper (Maxine), sister-in-law Betty A. Harper, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Despite the pain that weighs heavy on our hearts, we are blessed to carry the memories of the life we shared with Frank. When out fishing, cast a line for Frank or when out racing, do your best and enjoy the ride. Even in his final days weakened by illness, his concern was for others, for their well-being and their happiness. Let us carry forward the light he has instilled in us. Let us live as he did with love for others, compassion and a zest for life.
