Frank Ralph Morelli
May 17th, 1924 - March 25th, 2017
Frank Ralph Morelli died March 25, 2017 at Moses Cone Hospital, surrounded by his family. Frank was born May 17, 1924 in the Bronx, NY to Ralph and Clara Jacobs Morelli. He joined the US Navy 2 days after Pearl Harbor and served aboard a destroyer in the North Atlantic. He married Alice Ehrhardt in 1944. They celebrated 72 years of marriage last December. They had one daughter, Ann Morelli. He retired from the Prudential Insurance Corporation in 1982 and moved to Greensboro the following year to be near his daughter and grandchildren. Frank was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and a great great grandfather. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Alice; daughter Ann(Elizabeth); 5 grandchildren, Brad Morelli (Melissa), Allison Stupka(Dave), Chad Morelli(Jackie), Taylor Kelso (Valarie) and Sarah Stelmok(Bryan); 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson, 2 nephews Harold Woodin(Leah) and Gerard Woodin(Donna). A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm on Friday March 31, 2017 at the Episcopal Church Of The Epiphany, 538 Henry St, Eden, NC 27288. The family will receive friends at the home and also following the church service. Interment will be 10:00 am Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Westminster Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society and to the Episcopal Church Of The Epiphany, Eden, NC. Lambeth-Troxler Funeral & Cremation Service is assisting the family.
