Frank E. Ochoa

OCHOA, M.D., Frank E., 88, of Land O’ Lakes, Fla. passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2012. He was born in Colombia, South America and retired to Land O’ Lakes in 2002. Frank touched many lives; he was a gifted surgeon who practiced in Lexington, North Carolina for over 20 years. He graduated from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. Frank loved being a small town surgeon and part time horseman and cattleman. He is survived by his wife, Sally; four sons, David, Pacho, Jaime and Butch; two daughters, Kathy and Lisa; daughter in law, Maria; fifteen grandchildren and numerous friends in Lexington, NC and the Groves in Land O’ Lakes, Fla. A memorial service will be held at 6 P.M. on Saturday at Loyless Funeral Home. Donations may be made in Frank’s memory to the Children International of Kansas City, MO.
