Frank Pipolo, 98, of Woodbury, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2020. Legacy He was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. He was a proud member of the United States Army which he served from 1939 to 1945 during all of World War II. He was a radio operator and explosives expert which he was honorable discharged as a Corporal and received the Philippine Liberation Medal with two Bronze Stars, a long with many medals and commendations. Frank was a 33rd Degree Mason and a member of the Consistory, Shriners, Former Shriners Clown, Tall Cedar and Pitman Masonic Club. He was a self employed electrical contractor for over 60 years. He was a life time member of the Friendship Fire Department. Family He is the beloved husband of 51 years to the late Blanche Pipolo (nee Earnhardt); devoted father of the late Elizabeth Pipolo, Frances Pipolo-Cole (the late George), David Pipolo (Kim), Cathy Pipolo, Mary Healy (Jim), James Pipolo and Frank Pipolo, Jr. Adored grandfather of Christie Merget(Robert, Sr.), Caitlyn Pipolo, Anthony Pipolo and David Pipolo. Cherished great grandfather of Ryan, Mason and Robbie Merget. Son of the late Elizabeth (nee Kessler) and Michael Pipolo. Dear brother of the late Virgina Wenig and the late Rose Marie Giangiacomo. He will be missed by many friends and family. Farewell Tribute Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Tuesday, January 28th from 6:00PM to 8:00PM and Wednesday from 9:00AM to 11:00AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ.
