ROSEN, Frank, 88, of Tampa, FL passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014. He was born in Philadelphia, PA and moved to Tampa, FL in 2005. Frank was a United States Navy Veteran and served during World War II. He was a real estate contracting officer for the U. S. Government and he also worked as a head waiter for Rosenthal and Kaufman Catering in Philadelphia. Frank was a former member of Congregation Ner Zedek. He loved to fish, sing, dance, enjoyed all Philadelphia sports teams, and mostly loved spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gertrude in 2005 and his son in law Rob Rabil in 2009. He is survived by his two sons Warren and his wife, Phyllis of Philadelphia, PA and Louis and his wife, Myla Wingard of San Diego, CA; two daughters, Alexa Herman and her husband, Alan of Villanova, PA and Fern Rabil Pequignot and her husband, Joe of Tampa, FL; sister in law, Frieda of Philadelphia; nine grandchildren, Jake, Sam, Eitan, Kylie, Madeline, Alec, Adira, Michael, Eric and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his loving companion since 2007, Diane Weaver. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank's name to the Tampa Lighthouse for the Blind. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
