Frank Wayne Shelton

Frank Wayne Shelton, age 81, sadly passed away on August 25, 2022 at his home in Peyton, Colorado. He was born on February 26, 1941 in Los Angeles, California to parents James Wesley Shelton and Betty June (Baugh) Shelton. Frank received a Bachelor's Degree in History and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Colorado State University. He also proudly served in the United States Air Force earning the rank of Technical Sergeant before being honorably discharged. After his years of service Frank went on to become a training manager for the Air Force. He was a man of faith and was affiliated with the Family of Faith Lutheran Church as well as belonging to the Civil Air Patrol and Pikes Peak Amateur Radio Club. Frank is preceded in death by his parents James Wesley Shelton and Betty June Shelton. Those left behind to honor and cherish Frank's memory are loving wife Mildred "Millie" Marie Shelton, sons Keith M. Shelton, Wade R. Shelton and sister Lucinda Boyd. A military memorial service will take place at Pikes Peak National Cemetery on Monday, September 26, 2022 at 1:00PM.
