Mountcastle, Franklin H., 71, of St. Petersburg, died Saturday October 2, 2004 at St. Petersburg General Hospital. Born in Portsmouth, VA, he came here in 1976 from Germany. He was a retired Master Sergeant in the U. S. Army. He was a Past Master and Secretary of the F&AM Northside Lodge #283. Survivors include three sons: Franklin L. and Lee Roy Mountcastle, both of St. Petersburg; and Andreas Gruendel, of Virginia; two daughters; Marritta Pofahl, St. Petersburg; and Manuela Mountcastle, Boulder, CO; a brother, Rick Mountcastle, of Virginia; and a sister, Sandra Mountcastle, Dalton, GA. Anderson-McQueen Funeral & Cremation Centers-N.E. St. Petersburg.
