Warner Robins: Fred W. ?Pappy? Dohler, 67, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday June 2, 2007. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Tuesday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Mr. Dohler was born in Alhambra, CA to the late William and Ida Flake Dohler. He was a member of the River of Light Church of God. He was a retired insurance agent and was a bus driver for special needs children with the Houston County Board of Education. Survivors include his wife Ruth E. Dohler of Warner Robins. Children: Craig Ginsberg and Sabre Dohler both of California. Step-sons: Russell Glynnis Sikes of Savannah, Ricky Bonnie Sikes of Greensburg, PA and Shane Denise Freeman of Byron. Eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry St., Macon, GA 31201. The family will receive friends from 7-9 pm Monday at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
