Fred R. Dusto, born June 23, 1928, in Highland Park, IL, died on June 4, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Betty; his brother, Ronnie; his sons, Brad and Tim; eight grandchildren and four great- grandchildren and was preceded in death by his son, Matthew. He and his wife were original parishioners of St. Thomas the Apostle RC Church and were longtime members of LaPaloma and Forest Highlands Country Clubs. Fred retired as CEO of Hubbell, Inc., in 1988 after 18 years with the company. A native of Libertyville, IL, Fred earned a BS in electrical engineering from Purdue Univ. after serving in the US Navy. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2014, followed by a burial at Holy Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made "In Memory Of Frederick R. Dusto" to Northland Hospice, 452 N. Switzer Canyon Dr., Flagstaff, AZ 86001.
