Fred Duane Lopeman

None Fred Duane Lopeman was born October 2, 1933 to Alva & Jeanetta (Bierman) Lopeman. Fred went to be with the Lord on June 17, 2006. He passed away in his home surrounded by his loving family and friends. He is survived by his loving companion of 22 years, Kathy Barnes; his children, Kristine (Dwayne) Lensegrav, Karen (Paul) Donnelly, Kirk (Zandal) Lopeman, Karleen (Bill) Brown, Kelly (Gus) Salzer, Diana and Greg Bridges (Kathy’s children); brother, Leo (Jan) Lopeman and sister, Colletta (Bill) Dugger; also 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Fred was a long time resident of the Olympia–Lacey area making his career in roofing. He loved spending time with his family and friends, and a man’s best friend, his dog, Barney. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. We express a special thanks to Keith, his best friend and Kathy’s brother, who cared for him during his illness. Also, to Doreen, Kathy’s sister, who provided nursing care in his last days.
