Fred Wilson Moore, Jr.

Fred Wilson Moore, Jr. Columbia- Fred Wilson Moore, Jr. passed away on December 4, 2018. Fred was born in Latta, SC. Fred is survived by his adoring wife of 57 years Trudy M. Moore, his children Trey Moore (Jan), Todd Moore, Paige Moore Hunter (Jerry), and his 6 grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Charles Moore (Joan) as well as a large extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents Fred Wilson Moore, Sr. and Bessie Bass Moore. Fred honorably served in the US Army and was a 1963 graduate of the University of South Carolina with a BS in Business Administration. He had worked most of his adult life as a mortgage banker and was the president/owner of Service Corporation. Fred was an active member of Lake Murray Presbyterian Church. He loved spending time with his friends and family. Memorial services for Fred W. Moore, Jr. will be held this Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Lake Murray Presbyterian Church, 2721 Dutch Fork Road, Chapin, SC 29036. There will be a reception following the service in the church fellowship hall.
