Mr. Fred Alfred Palmer Jr., 83, of Gaston, SC, passed away on Friday, May 14, 2021. Mr. Palmer was born in Columbia, SC on Friday, January 14, 1938 to the late Fred Alfred Palmer, Sr. and Louise Rast Palmer. Mr. Palmer was a retired Military Policeman with the South Carolina National Guard. Mr. Palmer is survived by two sons, Steve Palmer (Lisa) of Lexington, SC, and Mike Palmer (Leigh Ann) of Batesburg, SC; a devoted grandson, Christopher Baughman of Lexington, SC; two daughters, Wanda Hilley (Joel), and Lisa Boney of Lexington, SC; four sisters, Beverly Austin, Paulette Hendrix, and Linda Palmer Kaneft of Lexington, SC, and Heddy Williams of Orangeburg, SC; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
