Ryan, Fred, 79, of Pinellas Park, died Tuesday, February 25, 2003 at Abbey Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. He was born in Detroit, Michigan and came here in 2002 from Dothan, Alabama. He served in the US Navy. He worked as a Harbormaster for the Panama Canal Company for 29 years. He was a member of the VFW and the Elks Clubs. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Vera Ryan of Pinellas Park, one daughter Marna Roman of St. Petersburg, three sons, Michael Ryan of Sebring, Fred Ryan of Clinton, Montana and Robert Ryan of St. Petersburg, one sister, Virginia Hunter of Dothan, Alabama, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center- 9th Street Chapel.
