Frederic Robert Kershaw
November 7th, 1928 - December 16th, 2021
Frederic Robert Kershaw passed away Dec. 16, 2021, in Chehalis, Wash. He was born November 7, 1928, to Fred R. and Lola L. (Gaston) Kershaw in Yakima, Wash. Over the years, he also lived in Rainier and Tenino, Wash. Frederic graduated from Yakima High School, served in the U.S. Air Force for one year, and married Carol Jean Riendeau on June 4, 1953 in Yakima. Professionally, he worked for the Yakima Herald Republic, the Seattle Times, The Seattle P.I., and Columbia Beverages in Tumwater, Wash. He loved fishing, hunting, and woodworking. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Frederuc is survived by his loving wife of 68.5 years, Carol Kershaw; son, Jeffrey R. Kershaw, and wife, Lori, of Wilbur, Wash.; daughters, Jennifer Ingalls, and husband, Max, of Eagle Mountain, Utah, Kendra Emrich, and husband, Steve, of Chehalis, and JoLynn Udy of North Salt Lake, Utah; 20 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; and sister, Marian Kershaw Karr. Burial at Terrance Heights Memorial Park Cemetery in Yakima.
