Frederick Davis, 76, of St. Petersburg, FL, died Saturday, Sept. 7, 2002 at his residence under the care of The Hospice Of The Florida Suncoast. He came here in 1990 from his native Pawtucket, RI and was a summer resident of Prudence, RI. He was a painting contractor for a hospital. He was a Navy veteran of WW II and Korea, a life member of the American Legion, Past Commander of the Fairlawn Post in Pawtucket, and was a Past Deputy Sgt. Of Arms for the state of RI. He was a member of several Masonic organizations and was Past President of the Flowerwood Mobile Home Park Association in St. Petersburg. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Edna, two sons, Frederick Davis of Pawtucket, Major Jeff Davis of Fort Meade, MD, one sister, Ruth Maguire of Sarasota, FL, four grandchildren, Jonathan C. Davis of Central Falls, RI, Heather A. Davis of E. Providence, RI, Benjamin J. Davis and Christopher M. Davis both of Fort Meade, and one great grandson, Ethan J.
